About me

This is where I should tell you how long I've been a photographer, what made me want to be a photographer, how in love with photography I am, and what makes me so great, but that's just not my style. Don't get me wrong, I do love photography (and I am pretty great), but I don't love writing about myself. Or at all. I'm a photographer, not a writer! But I've got to let you get to know me a bit if we're going to work together, right? So, here's a bit about me done in a way that didn't make me feel gross while writing it:

As a photographer, I'm reliable (you can count on me to be where I said I'd be when I said I'd be there), I'm not afraid to work hard for you (I absolutely will lay on the ground if it means getting that shot), and I take very seriously my role as the capturer of your memories. Think about it, I am capturing your memories. When you look back on your wedding, your daughter's Bat Mitzvah, your parents' anniversary party, your maternity shoot...my photos will help you remember. They'll fill in those details that may otherwise have become hazy in your mind - how you looked in your dress, which centerpieces you went with, that moment when your best friend had you cracking up. That's a role I'm honored to have and I'm grateful that I can share in those happy moments and the joy that they bring you.

Who am I when I'm not being a photographer? I'm a big ol' dork. For real. (Though, technically, I guess I'm a big ol' dork when I'm being a photographer too, but let's not get pedantic, OK?) I can regularly be found with my nose in a sci-fi or fantasy novel (just because I don't love writing doesn't mean I don't love reading), nerding out over The Simpsons (golden age only), fawning over everything Maynard James Keenan does (I can’t get enough of his music (Tool, in particular) but I also really look up to him as an entrepreneur), or belly dancing (I’m not very good but I love trying)!

That's me in a nutshell! If reading this didn't make you want to run away, and you checked out my work and don't think it sucks, hire me! I'd love to work with you.

And now to fluff my ego:
